It was built in 1986 by Roca Brothers (Joan, Josep and Jordi) near their family restaurant. It was shifted to a newly built wooden building in 2007. It has received three Michelin stars and is famous among folks due to its traditional Catalan cuisine. Besides this, it is also famous for its remarkable presentation. Sometimes they use chilled and then baked liquid nitrogen in calamari as a cracker to amaze the folks or at times they use bonsai tree to serve the appetizers.

Furthermore, they have also introduced some desserts and dishes which are based on branded perfume which also seems very interesting.  Tahitian ice cream and baby squids along with rock shaped onion are their typical dishes.
